Skepta Drops New Track ‘Man (Gang)’

Building on the hype and anticipation surrounding the recent announcement of the tracklist from upcoming album Konnichiwa, world-storming grime artist Skepta has dropped ‘Man (Gang)’, the first single from the highly anticipated album.

Over the course of the tracks three and a half minutes, Skepta leaves no-one speculating as to the quality of Konnichiwa. Opening with an atypical guitar lick sample, ‘Man (Gang)’ is a statement of intent, as the man himself proclaims ‘I’ll be schooling MC’s, nobody leaves ’til half past three, this year ima teach them a lesson’.

Skepta’s vocals mesh perfectly with an orchestrally minded beat, ending on what some well versed grime enthusiasts could interpret as a variation on the beat of a certain late 2014 banger from the man himself.
